Fort Dorchester quarterback Dakereon Joyner will officially play for the South Carolina Gamecocks next year.
The football star, considered by many as a four-star recruit, had nearly 30 offers come his way, but he had narrowed his decision down to South Carolina or North Carolina.
Joyner announced his decision on Father's Day to honor his dad who passed away when he was a young boy.
