Free Speech Lawsuit Against USC President Thrown Out

A federal lawsuit alleging the president of the University of South Carolina infringed on a student's free speech is being thrown out.

The student filed the claim in February of last year when he says administrators questioned his decision to display posters that other students complained were discriminatory and sexist.

The posters were put up during a free speech event and a judge says no free speech was impeded because the university chose not to pursue any investigation after meeting with the student.
