Land Purchase Will Allow New School To Be Built

Plans to build a new school in the Lexington-Richland 5 District are moving forward.

The School Board voted yesterday to buy land in Chapin for a new school. The elementary school is expected to ease overcrowding, but some neighbors think the location is wrong.

One neighbor on Amicks Ferry Road tells WIS-10 there are safety concerns about the site.
