Unemployed nuclear reactor construction workers took their anger to the State House, while Fairfield County officials sounded off at a meeting last night, both groups outraged over the decision by SCANA to abandon the VC Summer project.
The laid off workers attended a press conference as legislators promised to investigate the utility’s plans to abandon construction of the two reactors.
Meanwhile, Fairfield County Council members are considering legal action over the decision they called “negligent”.
