A search continues at Lake Murray for a former Columbia firefighter who fell from a boat during an excursion one week ago today.
The state's Department of Natural Resources announced yesterday that its officials will continue in its recovery effort for the body of 35-year-old Durham DeLaura until he is found.
Authorities said the ten-year Columbia Fire Department veteran who left the job last year was possibly drunk when he disappeared from his 15-foot vessel with his four-year-old daughter aboard.
The girl was spotted by a passerby and rescued safely.
