Convicted Charleston mass killer Dylann Roof is trying to fire his court-appointed attorneys because of their ethnicities.
The white supremacist asked Columbia's Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals in a letter made public yesterday that he feels like he's receiving inadequate legal representation in his attempt to get his capital murder conviction overturned.
Roof said the cultural background of his either of his lawyers, one who is Jewish and the other Indian, is a "barrier" to "effective communication," and that both are his "political and biological enemies."
He is set to be put to death for the 2015 killings of eight parishioners at the Emanuel AME Church.
