McMaster Emails Deleted From Time As Lieutenant Governor

(Columbia, SC) -- Governor Henry McMaster's emails from his time as lieutenant governor are gone after they were deleted.

An official with the state's Legislative Services Agency told "The Post and Courier" in Charleston yesterday that two-years' worth of electronic communication were automatically deleted six-months after he succeeded Nikki Haley in the governor's office.

He became governor January 24th, the same day Haley was confirmed as U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations.

The Legislative Services Agency maintains it e-mail deletion policy to save space on state government servers.
