(Irmo, SC) -- New details are out about a traffic block on Interstate 26 near Irmo.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says a hit-and-run was the beginning of a domino effect of events in yesterday's incident.
The eastbound and westbound traffic on the interstate was blocked after both collisions.
The Highway Patrol is looking for a truck involved in the initial crash. It's described as a tractor-trailer or a trailer pulling equipment on the back of it.
