(Greenville, SC) -- Governor Henry McMaster is hoping for a boost from President Trump's visit.
The President called McMaster a "great man" and a "friend" during his speech at a fundraiser in Greenville yesterday. The 250-dollar a plate dinner could raise as much as 250-thousand dollars for McMaster's reelection campaign.
"The State" is reporting that McMaster's Republican rival Catherine Templeton has been doing better in the fundraising department in recent months.
A small group of protesters and supporters greeted the President at the airport, but no incidents were reported.
