(Columbia, SC) -- A state agency is doing its part to make trick-or-treating safer for kids.
The Department of Probation, Parole and Pardon Services announced recently that it is imposing a curfew for sex offenders on Halloween.
The curfew requires sex offenders to have their porch lights turned off, not to hand out candy and not to attend parties.
The curfew will be in effect from 5:30 to 9:00 on Tuesday night.
