(Greenville, SC) -- A state trooper killed in the line of duty is being remembered as a quiet hero. That's how Highway Patrol Colonel Chris Williamson described Daniel Rebman yesterday at funeral services in Greenville for the 31-year-old.
Rebman died after his cruiser was rear-ended while he was stopped on the side of the highway last week.
Williamson also says Rebman's death is a cruel reminder that the job doesn't come with promises or reassurances.
