Midlands Election Results

(Undated)  --  At least two Midlands cities will have new mayors, including one that didn't even appear to have a race.

In Pine Ridge, Robert Wells wasn't even on the ballot but, as a write-in candidate, he upset incumbent mayor David Busby by ten votes.

In Chapin, David Knight beat incumbent Skip Wilson.  Incumbent William Johnson was able to hang on though, in Holly Hill

In Columbia, Sam Davis and Tameika Isaac Devine and Sam Davis were both re-elected to City Council and Mayor Steve Benjamin will serve another 4 term.  Benjamin's name, however, was not on the ballot as no one filed to run against him.
