(Charleston, SC) -- The family of a man shot and killed by a police officer says they now have justice.
Former North Charleston officer Michael Slager yesterday was sentenced to 20 years in prison for killing Walter Scott two years ago.
Scott was unarmed and was running away when he was shot five times during a traffic stop. After the sentence was announced, Scott's mother told WIS 10 News she thanks God, and she's rejoicing.
