(Charlotte, NC) -- The Carolina Panthers are turning over the day-to-day control of the team to Tina Becker. Becker has been named chief operating officer and takes over the daily operations from owner Jerry Richardson.
The move was made less than 24 hours after Richardson announced he would sell the team at the end of the season.
Richardson is being investigated by the NFL for allegations of workplace misconduct including sexual harassment.
