(Columbia, SC) -- As the clock ticks down on 2017, so will the thermometer. New Year's Eve could bring the lowest temperatures of the season Sunday night.
The National Weather Service predicts temperatures will drop into the mid 20s as revelers bundle up for the Famously Hot New Year's Eve party in downtown Columbia.
New Year's Day will be a good time to stay inside and watch USC and Clemson in bowl games with the temperature not getting out of the 30's.
