(Orangeburg County, SC) -- First responders are having a hard time keeping track of how many wrecks they've dealt with in the last couple days.
In one 24-hour period, Highway Patrol estimates they responded to more than 900 crashes. The Orangeburg Fire District alone estimates it responded to 300 wrecks.
Freezing temperatures overnight mean there could be black ice on the roads this morning, especially on bridges, overpasses and secondary roads.
