State Senate Overrides McMaster Veto On School Buses

(Columbia, SC)  --  South Carolina students could be a step closer to getting new school buses.

The state Senate yesterday voted unanimously to override Governor Henry McMaster's veto of funding for more than 200 new buses.  The House passed its own override vote last week.

McMaster vetoed the funding because he didn't think it was appropriate to use surplus lottery money on school buses.
