(Columbia, SC) -- State lawmakers are being challenged to stop what the governor calls SCANA's unreasonable actions.
Ahead of his first State of the State address tonight, Governor Henry McMaster yesterday sent a letter to the legislature urging it to come up with a plan to replace the Base Load Review Act.
The BLRA allows SCANA to raise rates to recover the costs associated with their failed nuclear project.
McMaster tweeted that he'll sign a bill that replaces the BLRA, but he'll veto any plan that does not abolish it.
