(Columbia, SC) -- The sheriff says a man who attacked a comedian needs thicker skin, but the club owner believes the comedian deserves some of the blame.
Richland County Sheriff Leon Lott announced yesterday that Marvin Toatley has been charged for the on-stage attack of comedian Steve Brown last weekend at The Comedy House in Columbia.
Club Manager Peter Hamlett, though, tells WIS 10 News that Brown antagonized Toatley and put other customers in danger.
