Former State Rep. Sentenced For Misconduct In Office

(Beaufort, SC)  --  A former public servant will soon find out what a judge's idea of public service is.

Former Lexington State Rep. Rick Quinn was sentenced yesterday for misconduct in office.

He was ordered to perform 500 hours of community service as part of a plea deal that also includes two years of probation and a one-thousand dollar fine.

Quinn admitted to not reporting income he got from USC while the university was lobbying state lawmakers.
