(Johns Island, SC) -- A missing Lowcountry girl is safe after a search that spanned three states.
Johns Island four-year-old Heidi Todd was found yesterday in Alabama after she was last seen the night before.
She was found in a car and when the local police chief pulled her from the car, the driver woke up and sped off.
Charleston County's Thomas Evans was later found and arrested last night in Mississippi and charged with kidnapping.
