(Chapin, SC) -- Some Richland County residents can claim victory in a fight with a developer. T
he county council yesterday denied a rezoning request that would have allowed for more than 200 homes to be built in Lake Murray on Johnson Marina Road.
Opponents said the project would have strained resources that are already struggling, like the sewer system. 'WIS 10 News' reports the council's vote means the project can still go forward but at only about half the size.
