(Columbia, SC) -- Students calling for new gun laws are being used as tools to further a left-wing agenda.
That's what Governor Henry McMaster said yesterday about students participating in National School Walkout Day.
The walkouts around the country marked one month since the deadly Florida school shooting, but McMaster says it was more of a political statement than a memorial.
He also tells public educational broadcasting network ETV that students should have prayed for the families of the victims instead.
