(Columbia, SC) -- A judge's recent ruling could cause what one expert calls havoc throughout the hospitality industry.
A judge ruled this week that the state should not extend a liquor license for a Columbia bar called Five Points Roost.
The judge made the ruling because she says the bar does not serve enough food to qualify for the license.
The ruling is under appeal, and USC Hospitality Professor Robin DiPietro tells "The State" this could force bars across the state to close because most hardly serve any food.
