(Columbia, SC) -- Damage in the Midlands is being blamed on more than just a typical storm.
The National Weather Service confirmed last night that two tornadoes touched down yesterday afternoon within two minutes of each other.
The first tornado was an EF-Zero that touched down in Lexington, while the second was an EF-One in Irmo.
The storms caused damage to more than a dozen homes in the area, and left more than 80 thousand residents without power across the state.
