(Columbia, SC) -- A former walk-on at USC is now a first round NFL draft pick.
The Baltimore Ravens, last night, selected tight end Hayden Hurst with the 25th overall pick. It comes just three years after Hurst walked on to the football team after ending his baseball career.
The 25-year-old says it's a dream come true, and Gamecocks Football Tweeted the Ravens are getting an incredible player and an even better person.
