(Columbia, SC) -- Incidents from a Columbia educator's past are coming to light.
Columbia International University President Dr. Mark Smith is named in a federal lawsuit filed by a lawyer who used to work at an Ohio school where Smith was also president.
That lawyer claims Smith fired him because the lawyer investigated sexual harassment allegations against Smith's son, who now also works at CIU.
A spokesman for CIU told "The State" yesterday it has complete confidence in Dr. Smith.
