(Hartsville, SC) -- A woman who accused a college student of raping her is now facing her own charges.
Hartsville Police last week arrested Coker College 18-year-old Lauren Pearson for filing a false report over the rape accusation. Her arrest came a day after 19-year-old Cesar Lopez was released from jail after he was accused of raping her at a party last month.
'News 13' reports charges against Lopez have since been dropped, but his lawyer says those charges are like a bell that can't be un-rung.
