Students Bill Of Rights Proposes Tuition Freeze

(Columbia, SC)  --  Changes are being recommended to make college more affordable.  

The state Committee on Higher Education recently released a Student Bill of Rights.  Its recommendations include freezing or cutting tuition to avoid leaving students with what the chairman calls crushing debt. 

Clemson and USC are critical, though, and USC's president tells the "Greenville News" colleges need sustainable state funding.
