(Greenville, SC) -- A state prosecutor is doubling his chances of winning an election.
Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Solicitor Walt Wilkins said yesterday he will continue to run for reelection while also serving as Catherine Templeton's running mate.
Templeton is running for the Republican nomination for governor, and she tells the "Greenville News" she supports the Upstate prosecutor's decision to run in two races.
Wilkins is unopposed in his attempt at a third term as solicitor for Greenville and Pickens counties.
