(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina prison officials are being sued over a deadly prison riot.
Eddie Gaskins' estate filed a wrongful death suit yesterday against the Department of Corrections.
The 32-year-old was one of seven inmates who died in the riot last month at the Lee Correctional Institution in Bishopville.
A lawyer for the estate accuses the SCDC of showing blatant disregard for basic human rights.
