(Columbia, SC) -- If you want to be more prepared in the event of a weather emergency, there's now an app for that.
The state's Emergency Management Division announced yesterday it has launched an app and a new website to provide much-needed information during a storm.
The information on the app includes a location finder that tells you if an evacuation has been ordered in your area.
The app can also serve as a flashlight, and it can send an emergency signal as well as your GPS location.
