(Columbia, SC) -- A Lexington doctor is facing a wrongful death lawsuit for a man's shooting death.
The suit filed last week by the victim's mother claims Dr. Adam Lazzarini was negligent when he shot and killed William Holland last year.
Lazzarini shot Holland while showing him a gun he kept in a safe, and police say Lazzarini was drunk at the time.
He's facing charges that include involuntary manslaughter, but his lawyer tells 'WACH Fox' the shooting was an accident.
