(Columbia, SC) -- Columbia residents aren't happy with changes the city says will make a dangerous road safer.
Those who live in Greenview around Farrow Road met yesterday with city officials and the DOT to discuss plans to add a bike lane to the road.
Adding that bike lane, though, plus a designated bus lane, would mean reducing driving lanes from four to two, and residents objected to that.
The city agreed to put the project on hold, and City Manager Teresa Wilson says the community's wishes will take priority.
