(Columbia, SC) -- A former police chief now finds himself accused of being a criminal.
Former Columbia Police Chief Randy Scott was arrested this week on drug charges in Richland County.
US Marshals wound up at Scott's home on Heyward Higgins Road while trying to find another man wanted for trafficking cocaine, and while at the home, they say they found meth and weapons.
The 49-year-old Scott was police chief from 2010 to 2013, and he was also a Richland County deputy.
