Testing is underway to determine if there's any danger to the public after a uranium leak was reported in Richland County.
The leak was reported about two weeks ago at a Westinghouse facility on Bluff Road. Federal regulators say the uranium leaked into the soil, and DHEC is awaiting test results to see if there's any threat to local water supplies.
DHEC tells The State, so far, there's no sign of any contamination.
