(Columbia, SC) -- The son of a veteran has a special memento to remember his father by.
Kenneth Lee served in the Korean War and the Columbia Police Department before he died in a plane crash almost 60 years ago along with his wife.
All veterans are given an American flag, but Kenneth's son couldn't locate his dad's, so he contacted Fort Jackson.
At a ceremony this weekend, he was presented with the flag, and he tells News 19 it was a very special day, right up there with getting married and becoming a parent.
