State Trooper Praised For Kind Act

(Lexington, SC)  --  A homeless father of seven is thankful for the help he got from a state trooper in Lexington.

Everett Barber was stranded on the side of the highway in Lexington this weekend when Trooper Jason Blaney showed up to help.

Barber says he practically lives in his car, and he only had enough money for parts, but Blaney paid for a tow and even bought food for Barber and the woman he was with.

Barber posted about the good deed on Facebook, and he tells WCNC there's a lot of good people who deserve a lot of recognition.
