(Pickens, SC) -- An Upstate school district appears to have started a trend.
Pickens County recently announced it will follow Anderson Five's lead and eliminate traditional snow days. Instead of giving kids the day off when school is closed for snow, students will do their assignments online from home.
The Greenville News reports Pickens is now the fifth district in the state to take this approach after Anderson Five first announced the new policy last month.
