Co-Op Will Vote To Remove Board Member

Customers are planning to take action against members of the Tri-County Electric Co-op.

The co-op serves customers in the Midlands, but some of those customers claim the board has been taking advantage of them.  Board members get paid for each meeting they attend, and last year, members scheduled more than 50 meetings.

Three board members resigned after customers complained, and tomorrow, customers will vote on removing the six remaining members.
