(St. Matthews, SC) -- Customers of Tri-County Electric say they've had enough of the co-op's board of directors.
More than 15-hundred customers packed out a meeting room in Saint Matthews Saturday to overwhelmingly vote out the board over disagreements in their pay.
The State reported that the part-time board paid out 52-thousand-dollars to each member, which was more than three times the national average for co-ops.
The Tri-County Electric Cooperative covers parts of six counties in central South Carolina.
