McMaster Disappointed In Planned Parenthood Ruling

(Columbia, SC) -- The governor is not happy with a federal judge's recent ruling about Planned Parenthood.

The judge this week issued a temporary injunction against the state's effort to deny Medicaid payments to the organization.

Governor Henry McMaster announced last month that Planned Parenthood would no longer receive state money as long as it performs abortions, but the judge ruled none of the money funds abortions.

McMaster's spokesman says the governor will continue to fight until every South Carolinian knows beyond a doubt taxpayer dollars are not funding abortions.
