Rising floodwaters are responsible for closing part of a major highway.
I-95 in Dillon County was closed last night from Exit 164 to 181 in both directions. SCDOT made the decision because of the threat posed by the rise of the Great Pee Dee River.
Some parts of the road that had been closed since Sunday are now reopened.
