(Georgetown, SC) -- As bad as things are in Georgetown County, the governor sees reason for optimism.
Henry McMaster and Georgetown Mayor Brenden Barber toured the city this weekend to get a look at the damage from Hurricane Florence.
McMaster says the floodplain is so wide that the water isn't as deep as he feared.
That left shop owners in the historic district relieved as they found their businesses unaffected by floodwaters.
