Warnings Remain In Effect For Midlands

(Columbia, SC) -- A deadly storm is making its presence felt in South Carolina.

Michael is responsible for at least two deaths in Florida, and despite being downgraded to a Tropical Storm, there is still a threat.

While many warnings and watches have been canceled for Columbia and the surrounding area, breezy conditions and some rain will remain through the middle of the afternoon.

Nearly 30,000 power outages have been reported in Lexington and Richland Counties and some 100,000 statewide. 

Numerous trees have fallen with some impacting roadways across the Midlands.
