(Columbia, SC) -- A diehard USC football fan now has the memory of a lifetime thanks to the teamwork of some former Gamecocks.
Laurens County's Gloria Butler has just months to live because of Stage Three lung cancer, but she got to live out her dream this weekend of attending her first game at Williams-Brice Stadium.
Former player Ulric Jones arranged for her to take part in the Gamecock Walk, tour the stadium and meet George Rogers and Marcus Lattimore.
Jones says he did everything he could to make the experience as good as possible, and Butler's daughter tells The State her mom felt like royalty.
