(Columbia, SC) -- A man is facing charges for filing a false report that tied up Columbia Police resources for hours.
Police yesterday arrested 55-year-old Darrell Shealy for falsely claiming that his two sons were missing.
That led to a search that lasted hours before one child was found with his grandmother, and the other was found at school.
Police say Shealy admitted he is not the father of either boy and he was drunk when he filed the report.
