(Rock Hill, SC) -- President Trump can find a more welcoming reception in South Carolina than in most states.
A poll released yesterday shows Trump with a 44-percent approval rating in the state, which is four points higher than his national approval rating.
The Winthrop University poll shows more than 80 percent of the state's Republicans support Trump.
As for other political figures, Senator Tim Scott has 55-percent approval, Lindsey Graham is at 49-percent and Governor Henry McMaster is at 51 percent.
