(Columbia, SC) -- Compared to the rest of the campaign, today will be a quiet day for the two candidates for governor.
Republican incumbent Henry McMaster and Democratic challenger James Smith spent the final day before Election Day meeting voters around the state.
McMaster was in the Lowcountry where he focused on reducing flooding, and Smith met with veterans in the Upstate.
Both will spend today in Columbia as they await the returns.
