(Columbia, SC) -- A security guard is credited with stopping a sexual assault in Richland County.
Deputies say a woman suffered a broken nose and swelling in her eyes in an attack last week on Elmwood Ave.
A security guard who heard a commotion approached the scene, and that's when deputies say the man stopped and ran away.
The woman was treated at the hospital, and deputies continue to search for the suspect.
